Poetry
Words have power, and in certain arrangements a certain mystery is captured. I enjoy writing poetry that has the potential to influence someone for the better. Some are calming, some are vigorous and empowering, and most are just in the air for interpretation. Essentially, I enjoy writing words that can pull us toward creation, or change, or make us look at old things in a new way. The following are a few poems from my archive. Enjoy!
Invisible darkness
Every moment has past
No reason to hold on to
Nothing ever lasts
Charting the horizon
Such an engaging mist
Bare hearted wander
Gently hardens my fist.
Rain drops of ambition wash away the misery
A mystery to emerge full of colors arching over the sea
Mist crawls out of the horizon
Patches of sunlight lend a smile to me
I see clearly into myself like never before
Letting go of everything that once had me by the throat
Free to discover
Free to create
Free to fly far far away
Here and now
Wherever it may be
Energetic spine dancing to the next scene
No place to be
Nowhere to be found
Nobody can chain me down
On a big blue planet
All I want is you.
man it's kinda cold
forgot what i've been told
and i'm getting old
now what's the point?
anything i do gets undone
trying to find a way
back to the sun
tired of running
climbing up
pushed back down
kicked in the gut
but it's cool though
what's fair?
find my way home?
already there.
cosmic phantom moves with delicate tension
adrift in the mind under a moonlit sky
burn the rest to ashes, witness ascension
let secret thoughts come alive
dazed and confused
but i'm ok and amused
how life unfolds
nobody will ever know
mind on the edge
on a constant retreat
heart opens to closes again
tired of defeat
somewhere my soul takes a seat
quietly in reach with the stars
what a place to be
when you know the universe at large
a masterpiece in line with my chest
lends itself to discovery
courage may be blind
in an authentic quest
swimming with patience
carefree
motions in water
ripples of light
under a blue sky
oxygen to breath
