Approach
Arya's web design project are completed through the following steps:
1. Research From the get go, a set of questions are presented to the client to determine the scope of the project and the time and resources required to complete it. Based on these preliminary questions, a clear and simple focus is established to guide the project forward and filter out the essentials among the many ideas that may arise. A competitive analysis is also performed to gain perspective as to where we stand in the market.
2. Sketch After examining the data collected from research, Arya then creates basic sketches that honor that data. The point of this step is to come up with as many prototypes as possible to determine which best fit the main purpose of the project. Things like layout, color, and navigation are addressed and different iterations are considered for graduating to the design phase.
3. Design The design phase is a fun and important step in the process because things really start to take form and the client can start to see how the website would look like. Arya uses Photoshop to design a draft of the site and sends it to the client to determine what’s good and what’s not. Iterations are made as needed to narrow in on the desired design.
4. Develop Upon settling on the final design, Arya will get to work on implementing the website using HTML, CSS, and Javascript and SEO as required. The site will be programmed in a way that’s compatible across different web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) and is easily updatable in the future.
5. Finalize once inserting the content provided by client, Arya, client, and selected individuals will thoroughly review the website to watch for typos, misalignments, and any other flaws that exist in the site. After a complete evaluation, Arya will launch the website live under the designated domain name.
